Your custom countertops are poured on-site from high strength concrete, resistant to chipping and cracking. Custom colors, unique edge designs, and built in features like drying racks allow for a truly unique kitchen, wetbar, bathroom, or other fixture.
The Process
- Creating Templates The first step in our process is creating precise templates of your new countertops. Using our time tested technique, we map out the exact size and shape of the slabs ensuring that the final product fits perfectly in your space.
- Building and Sealing Molds Next, we build and seal the molds. This step is crucial for shaping the concrete and achieving the desired thickness, edge design, and overall look of the countertops.
- Mixing and Pouring We mix the high-strength concrete to the perfect consistency and pour it into the molds. During this step, we also can add pigment to change the final color of the slab. We also use vibrating tools to remove any air bubbles, ensuring a solid and smooth final product.
- Allow to Dry The concrete is then allowed to dry and cure. This is a critical period where the concrete gains its strength and durability. Depending on the conditions, this can take several days to ensure optimal results.
- Sealing Once the concrete has dried, we clean the surface and apply a high-quality sealant to protect the surface and enhance its appearance. The sealing process helps to prevent stains, scratches, discoloration and other types of damage, keeping your countertops looking fresh for years to come.
- Installation The final step is the installation of your new countertops. Our skilled team maneuvers the slabs into place then shim and seal to the cabinets.
